Changing the Game in Personal Care

Business Challenge: Leverage Palomar Medical Technologies leadership in cosmetic laser solutions for professionals – to introduce the first FDA-cleared, at-home laser clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

Insight: The professional dermatologist endorsement is important in signaling legitimacy (of this first-time ever product), communicating (dermatologist-quality) results and the emotional payoff of a younger looking you today and tomorrow (by removing years from your appearance and slowing down the signs of aging).

Solution: Informed by consumer research, we helped define future brand vision and positioning, developed the PaloVia™ Skin Renewing Laser® name, logo and tagline, and readied the brand for launch through messaging, packaging, in-store, new e-commerce website and social media. Moving forward as AOR, we'll integrate digital, social media and print to introduce the brand to beauty-involved women 40-60.

Result: Succesful launch, and dramatic sell-through's, on QVC. New distribution through major high-end department store retailers. Sales ahead of forecast.
